  • The individual responsible for the flight is required to submit this form.
  • Submission must be made no later than 30 days before the start date of the Aeropac launch you plan to attend for your flight.
  • Submission of this form does not constitute approval.
  • You may be contacted for additional information.
  • You will be contacted once approval is granted.
  • If you are not contacted within 7 days prior to the flight, please contact Aeropac’s Project Review team.

Note: If the maximum altitude of your flight is expected to reach or exceed 100,000 feet, you must also obtain approval from the Tripoli Class 3 Committee. Regardless of expected altitude, any rocket with a motor or a combination of motors that exceed 40,960 Ns cannot be flown via the Aeropac FAA Waiver. All such rockets are Class 3 rockets and must be submitted to the Tripoli Class 3 committee for review and approval. The flier must obtain their own FAA Waiver. If a flier wishes to coordinate such a flight during an Aeropac launch, they should coordinate with the Prefect.
