Event: Balls 2007

Last seen: The upper section was at about a 50 degree bearing and was about 7 miles out from the launch site. Here is the location on Google Maps

The motor section had a RRQS 100 parachute on it and weighted 105 lbs. The upper section came down on a 6' drogue and weighted 80 lbs.

I would guess that the motor section could be up to 5 miles further along that heading.

The upper altitude winds that were at 80 mph at 39,000' from 230 degrees.
